She was predeceased by: her husband Diego B. Ramirez; and her parents, Adalberto Amaya and Ernestina Gamez. She is survived by: her children, Jaime Amaya (Pauline), Roberto Amaya (Manuela), Ernesto Escobar (Tammy), Irma Contreras (Javier), Dora Nunez (Ramon), Tina Ortiz (Sonny) and Papi. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Maria's Visitation and Service.
