She was predeceased by : her husband Tony Velasquez; her children, Esther Lucero and Joe Velasquez; her grandchildren, Joe Velasquez and Michelle Velasquez; and her son-in-law Ernesto Lucero.

She is survived by : her children, Tony Velasquez (Theresa), Dolores Velasquez, Christine Juarez and Yvonne Cordova (John); and her siblings, Viola Trujillo, Lucy Trujillo and Ricky Sandoval. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
