It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret B Perea of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Dixon, New Mexico, who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Candido Barela and Aurelia Barela; her husband Joseph "Joe" A. Perea; her son Philip A. Perea; and her siblings, Candido Barela, Carmen Chambers, Frances Grim and Mela Chavez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Perea and Patricia Madonia; her son-in-law Michael Madonia; her grandchildren, Kristina Perea, Helen Perea, Reagan Madonia and Gianna Perea; her great grandchildren, Antoinette Lopez, Trinity, Malakai Perea-Seenath, Andres and Yuliana Garcia; and her great great grandchild Joey Sanchez.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Second Presbyterian Church.
