It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcus David Placencia of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on December 23, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tomas Placencia, Edumenio "Eddy" Jaramillo and Thomas A. Griffin; his godmother Mary J. Baca; and the mother of his children Jennifer Marie Lord.

He is survived by: his children, Alicia Marie Placencia (Joseph Moss) and Isaac Marcus Placencia; his parents, Margaret Jaramillo Griffin (Richard Griffin) and Tomas David Placencia; his partner's children, Dinay Medina and Analisya Pacheco; his siblings, Thomas Michael Griffin (Brigid Walker), Natalie Griffin Keffer (Brett), Richard N. Griffin (Jessie) and Nicole Griffin Anderson (David); his grandmothers, Virginia Gonzales Placencia, Carolina Chavez Jaramillo and Audrey Roberts Griffin; his uncles, Joseph C. Placencia and John "Jay" Edward Genero; and his niece Charlee Anderson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
