He is survived by: his wife Mary Tafoya; his children, Michael Tafoya, Phyllis Watley (Saleem), Elizabeth Tafoya and Jerry "Khalil" Tafoya (Ferouz); his grandchildren, Saleem Watley (Hadjer), Christiana Sanchez (Mickey), Kameelah Watley, Jamal Watley, Sarah Tafoya, Antonio Tafoya, Khadija Watley, Najam Tafoya and Nailah Tafoya; his great grandchildren, Saddiq Watley, Santiago Sanchez, Samiya Watley, Kai Phan and Sebastián Sanchez; and his siblings, Vangie Tafoya, Ruby Martinez (Norman), Lucy Tafoya, Santiago "Jim" Tafoya (Ruby), Rose Tafoya, Eliva Tafoya and Tom Esch. He is also survived by extended family and many, many friends.
