She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur C. Sanchez and Flora M. Sanchez; her son Paul Elias; and her siblings, Joan Fisher and Sam Sanchez.

She is survived by: her husband John Elias; her children, Jae, Mary Elias, Robby Elias, JoAnn and Damien Chavez; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaedyn Elias.

She also worked with the Right to Life Foundation for a number of years.
