She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lazaro, Gertrudes Ponce, Vivian Cruz, Jess and Joyce Fonseca.

She is survived by: her son Lazaro Valencia; her parents, Jess Fonseca and Vivian Fonseca; her siblings, Laurie Fonseca (TJ York), Vanessa Fonseca-Chávez (Raul Chávez), Felicia Fonseca (Sky Yazzie) and Jess Fonseca (Carissa Franco Fonseca); her nephews, Kendyl Dolk, Isaiah Lister and Jesiah Fonseca; and her niece Isabella Fonseca.

She recognized that it's not how people use our charity, it's that we offer charity, that we act in love, and that we see people as God sees us.
