It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Ortiz of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mario Ortiz, Trampas Ortiz and Ely Ortiz; and his nephews, Gatlin Ortiz and Jacob Guzman.

He is survived by: his wife Michele Ortiz of Albuquerque, NM; his sons, Chance Ortiz, Joshua Salazar, Ryan Salazar and Devante Salazar; his parents, Elizabeth Ortiz of Bernalillo, NM and Ernest Ortiz (Eva) of Los Lunas, NM; and his sisters, Edna (Steve Gurule) of Bernalillo, NM, Eileen (Scott Jordan) of Albuquerque, NM and Josie (Ed Olona) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by 11 nieces; 8 nephews; 18 grandnieces and 14 grandnephews.
