It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lemonia Komis (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who passed away on January 18, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Komis; and her son Nick Komis. She is survived by: her sisters, Lela and Poulia; her son Peter Komis (Dorinda); her grandson Ianandra of Santa Fe; her daughter Chrissy Komis of Albuquerque; her granddaughter Nicole Kapnison; her son-in-law Nick Kapnison of Albuquerque; her nephew Stamati Giannakopoulos (Argyro "Ritsa" Vihou); her great-nephew Yannis of Rafina, Greece; her nieces, Connie and Helen Chalamidas of Albuquerque; and her aunt Lemonia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
