It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Chavez (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Connelly and Mary Connelly. She is survived by: her husband Christobal Chavez; her son Neil Katz (Ginger); her granddaughter Alyssa Katz of Atlanta, Georgia; her stepdaughter Priscilla Speidel (Jeff); her stepgranddaughter Ava Speidel; her stepdaughters, Angela and Christina Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; her sister Marlyn; and her siblings-in-law, Luis Chavez (Mary), Robert Chavez (Viola), Mercedes Chavez and Mary Cox. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
