She was predeceased by: her father James Warren Jones, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother JoAnn Jones (Whitney) of Aurora, Missouri; her close friend Sherry Leeson of Albuquerque; her brothers, Jim Jones (Linda) of Colorado Springs and Jerry Jones of Aurora, Missouri; and her nieces and nephews, Jimmy Jones III, Johnathan Jones (Angela), Jeanice Dunham (Wes) and Julia Geiger (Nick). She is also survived by numerous great nephews and nieces and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home (303 S Jefferson Ave, Aurora, MO 65605). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Maple Park Cemetery (2 W Prospect St, Aurora, MO 65605).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Compassion International (http://www.compassion.com), a Christ-centered cause that Julie embraced.
