It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Villarreal in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Villarreal and Mariana Rocha; his wife Florinda Villareal; and his siblings, Fernando, Elyda, Alfredo and Roberto.

He is survived by: his children, Juan Villarreal Jr. (Teresa) of Abilene, Jose Luis Villarreal (Patricia) of Las Cruces, Dora Elia Shores (Mike) of Albuquerque, Javier Villarreal of Albuquerque, Viola Martinez (Magdiel) of Roswell, Letty Martinez (Arturo) of Rio Rancho, Marci VandenBout (Larry) of Dexter and Joel Villarreal of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Roberto Villarreal, Eric Villarreal, Juan Villarreal III (Deisy), Lori Villarreal, Joey Villarreal (Tiana), Jeremy Shores (Spring), Jason Shores, Jennifer Shores, Jamie Shores, Mariana Mitchell (Gerald), Megan Shores, Josh Martinez (Mryna), Jacob Martinez (Ashlee Cable), Justin Martinez, Marisa Martinez, Dominic Martinez, Timothy VandenBout (Amy Sanchez) and Lawrence VandenBout (Meghan); his great grandchildren, Roberto Jr., Isai, Malachi, Micah, Judah, Belen, Diego, Abigail, Noah, Christina, Adriana, Gabriel, Christian, Alexa, Liana, Jake, Luke, Kate, Zach, Maddy, Michaela, Jonathan, Rhiannon, Sean, Acacia, Sarina, Desmond, Amaya, Jonah, Luna, Arabella, Jaxen, Vivienne and AnaMaria; his siblings, Victorino, Oscar, Osvaldo, Siria, Ezequiel, Mario and Rosalinda; and also Juan. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
