He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Santana; his parents, Rosario and Jose; and his siblings, Andres, Ramona, Maria and Victoria.
He is survived by: his children, Carlos Valdez, Frank Larry Valdez, Elanor Sanchez (Gabriel Sanchez) and Billy Valdez (Ginger Valdez); and his grandchildren, Bernadette Valdez Gurule (David Gurule), Maria Griffin (Michael Griffin), David Valdez and Sevilla Valdez. He is also survived by Several grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
