He was predeceased by: his parents, Candelario Perez and Dominicia Lucero Chavez; and his brother Ray Chavez. He is survived by: his sisters, Merlinda Baca of Los Lunas, NM, Evangelina Chavez of Victoria, TX and Helen Herrera of Compton, CA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
