He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Chavez; his children, Jodi Moya (Monty), Monica Montoya (Jerome) and Joseph Chavez (Candace); his grandchildren, Desiree Moya, Miranda Moya, Marisa Montoya, Jerome Montoya, Kayla Chavez and Joseph Chavez; and his siblings, Fred Chavez, David Chavez, Robert Chavez, Henry Chavez, Paul Chavez and Dolores Chavez.
