With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Segoviano Huerta Sr. (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his sons, Michael John Huerta (Mico) and Abuelita Isabel; his parents, Manuel Huerta and Dolores Huerta (Lola); his siblings, Ben Huerta, Chilo Huerta, Manual Huerta (Junior), Henry Huerta and Helen Huerta; and his aunts and uncles, Cruz, Lupe, Wedo, Cecilio, Frank, Augustine, Trini Vasquez and Pabla Padilla.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Huerta; his children, Jonathan Huerta of Albuquerque, NM, Brittney Herpolshemier (Andrew) of Rio Rancho, NM, Jerome Huerta (Julia) of Show Low, AZ and Mark Huerta (Julie) of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchildren, Haley, Oliver Herpolshemier, Vanessa Lucero (Alex), Mariah Huerta (Nico Taylor), Alysha Huerta, Alexa Huerta, Auston Huerta (Liz), Kolton Huerta and Markus Huerta; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Aurora and Adelaide; and his sisters, Sally Carrasco (David), Angie Martinez (Sammy), Betty Hernandez (Jimmy), Corina Gurrola (Dale) and Gracie Tesillo (Daniel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
