It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremy Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Willie Gallegos; his grandfather Julian G. Lopez; his uncle William Lopez (Bill); and his aunts, Heather Vento and Denise Gilliam.

He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer Trevizo; his mother Jacqueline Lopez Gallegos of Albuquerque; his brother Julian J. Lopez (Florence Luna) of Albuquerque; his grandmother Bennie Gallegos of Los Lunas; his aunts and uncles, Jerry A. Lopez of Albuquerque, Jeff Lopez (Patricia Hernandez) of Albuquerque, Jeral A. Lopez of Albuquerque, Camilla Casias (Jerry) of Montrose Colorado, Jimmy Gallegos (Shirley), Josephine Sanchez (Martha) of Los Lunas and Tammy Chandler of Albuquerque; his great-aunts, Jolanda Lopez of Peralta and Carmen Martin of Albuquerque; his great-uncle Orlando Lopez (Juanita); his cousins, Jeff Lopez Jr. (Kay), Taft of Texas, Justin Lopez (Candice), Kandice Casias, Sharri Gilliam, Shannah Tuepell (Curtis), Travis Lopez of Albuquerque and Cory Chandler of Albuquerque; his nieces, Corinna Lopez (Antonio Baca) of Albuquerque and Jaylen Velasquez of Albuquerque; and his nephew Jacob Velasquez of Albuquerque.

Joy Junction is a nonprofit donations-only organization that works to handle the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of homeless women, children and families throughout New Mexico and provides clothes, food, shelter and safety to those in need.
