Jean Salazar Perea Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023, at the age of 85, Jean Salazar Perea of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Hedley, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Cleon Allee and Oneta Mae Posey (Sams); her siblings, Nelda, Wanda, Howard and Bobby; her spouse Schubert Salazar; her son Brian Salazar; her granddaughter Candis Ryan; her sons, David and Patrick Perea; and her great grandchild Emmitt.

She is survived by: her sister Jane Tatman (John) of Lumberton, TX.; and her children, Sharon Salazar, Debbie Santillanes (Mike), Linda Ryan (Mike), Keith Salazar (Berta) of Albuquerque, Anita Valdez (Roy), Bernadette Duran (David) and Christine Perea (Flo). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, who all knew her as "Nanny", several nieces and nephews.
