She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie G. Woods; her parents, Earnie Eason and Artie Mary Banks; her siblings, Cleon, Howard, Hub, Doyle, Boyd, Ray, Claude, Bunkie, Lucille and Mamie; her niece Candace; and her nephew Edwin Rushing.

She is survived by: her son Ronnie Rushing (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Brandy Avery and Ronnie Rushing (Katrina); her great grandchildren, Brandon Avery, Lynda Avery, Kaelyn Rushing and Andilynn Rushing; her great great grandchild Elly Avery; and her stepdaughters, Sherry Covey, Debbie Gill and Karen Crutchfield. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
