It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Ruth McIlvaine of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold K. Schneider and Eva E. Schneider (Penabaker); her significant other Sam; her siblings, Lorna Thom, Robert Schneider (Bob) and Barbara Mae; and her son-in-law John Cushman.
She is survived by: her children, Bill McIlvaine (Patricia) of Sound Beach, NY, Barbara Cushman of Albuquerque and Ian McIlvaine (Jeanette) of Signal Hill, CA.; her grandchildren, Adrienne McIlvaine (Will Matelski), Heather Draskin (Tim), Stephanie Ruales (Jimmy), Ben Brown (Elena Schrader), Celia Wallace (Brian) of Albuquerque and Gracie McIlvaine; her great grandchildren, Kevin, Sam Draskin, Michael, Audrey Ruales and Elliott Wallace; and her sister-in-law Barbara Schneider.
