She was predeceased by: her parents, Casimiro Saiz and Teresa Saiz; her husband Remigio Benavides; her son Carl Benavides; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Benavides.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Benavides (Vera) of Albuquerque, NM and Janelle McGill (Brian) of Silver City, NM; and her grandchildren, Adrienne Battke (Jenson), Jonathan Benavides (Josie), Shawn Benavides, Ryan Benavides (Samantha), Jacob McGill, Joshua McGill, Kylie Benavides and Jaime Benavides.
