He was predeceased by: his mother Maria. He is survived by: his daughters, Briana Jo (Cory Smith) and Brittany Nicole Mares; the mother of his children Cynthia Mares; his grandchildren, Keaton and Kali Smith; and his siblings, Ralph Mares, Henry Garcia, Frank Ovalle, Sookie Vizcarra, Irene Carrizosa and Vera Araguz. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces and great nieces and nephews.
