He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn Mitchell; his former wife Anne B. Gonzales; his daughters, Magdalena Gonzales and Sarah G. Gallegos (Ignacio V. Gallegos); his sisters, JoAnn Gonzales and Mabel Gonzales; his grandchildren, Deserae Lovato (Blaine Salazar), Anthony Rivera Jr., Ana Gallegos and Eliseo; his great grandchild Amiyah Salazar; his nieces and nephews, Yvonne, Rodney, Robby, Conrad, Carmela, Julian, Paul, Laura, Carla, Danny, Evangeline, Marlene, Charlene, Francis, Gary, Celeste, Jerome, Lizzy and Sammy; and also, Alyssa and Ryan.
