He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his son Louie; his parents, Borjas Armenta and Hildia Armenta; and his siblings, Borjas Armenta Jr., Alcario Armenta, Jose Armenta, Alberta Armenta, Rita Anzures and Jesse Moraga.

He is survived by: his children, Ruby Torrez, Robert Armenta (Tina), Jimmy Armenta (Julie), Irene Armenta and Belinda Mock (Todd); and his nephew Leroy Barboa. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren.
