Gladys Velarde Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Velarde (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Fort Collins, Colorado, who passed away on November 28, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Dolores Ayala and Edith Ayala; her husband Benigno Velarde; her son Daniel Velarde; her grandson Lucas Barela; and her siblings, George, Carmen Ayala and Josie.
She is survived by: her former husband Benny Velarde; her daughters, Antoinette Barela (Toni), Sylvia and Cristina Velarde; her daughter-in-law Loraine Velarde; and her siblings, Johnny Ayala and Pilar Chavez. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and innumerable nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
