He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Helen Uchiyama (Everett), Martha Salazar (Rudy), Patricia Castillo, Gina Greenwood (Marcus), Jeffrey Castillo (Jennifer) and Natalie Castillo; and his sister Virginia Buck (Dewey). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
