It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Herrera of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Abelino and Vivianita Herrera of Chili, NM.; his wife Katie; his daughter Vivian Herrera; his siblings, Susie Borrego, Amada Baros and Abelino Herrera Jr.; his nieces, Karen and Lori Herrera; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Herrera and Ursulo Borrego.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Warner Clow) and Bill Celevich; his brothers, Lorenzo Herrera (Socorro), John and Joseph Herrera; his great grandchildren, Joseph Herrera (Jackie), Mellanie Ammons, Alan Broome, Brianna Claytor (Christian), Cameron Herrera (Briana), Luke Pacheco, Karly Dela Cruz (Peter), Cody Garcia and Kaylie Archuleta; his great great grandchildren, Cruz and Viviana Herrera; and his pet Juana. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Everyone will be required to wear a mask and follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
