He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Loyal (Boss); his children, Leila R. Burton (Anthony Whitmore), Nina R. Burton (Eric Brotherton), Eurvenia R. Becknell (Charles Becknell, Jr.), Dawn R. Burton and Freiler R. Burton (Stephanie Burton); his grandchildren, Eurvenia Russell, Whitney Caldwell, Terran, Torri Farrow, Elijah Burton, Silas and Averie Becknell; and his great grandchildren, Trevion Bell, Jordan Hall and Jamari Hall. He was also cherished by five children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strong Thorne Mortuary (1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
