It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Chavez in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Chavez and Gloria Quintana. He is survived by: his sons, Fred Jr. Chavez, Daniel Chavez and Jeffery Chavez; his siblings, Daniel Chavez, Anthony Chavez of Albuquerque, NM, Lisa Griego, Marie Vasquez and Valeria Zamora of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchildren, Sean Chavez, Analya Chavez, Ruby Chavez, Noah Rivera and Anastasia Rivera; his godson Armando Peuentes; and his significant other Erica Chavez.

“Hi , I first met Fred when I moved to Albuquerque. I stopped off at Petrie Buick and GMC! . This guy came strait at me as I was looking over a Buick LaCross! I am a tuff customer when a buy a vehicle ! Fred seemed a little frustrated at first; I got my price and we became friends ! That never happened to me as a customer! I bought another Buick off of Fred a year later . I will miss Fred a lot! My condolences to his family . Walter Lapp”
