He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Green and Mary Carr Green; his siblings, Robert, Donald, Crawford and Mary Blanche; his former wife Patricia Veno Green; and his daughter Deborah Green Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ruth Green; his daughter Sandra Green Hough; and his stepchildren, Marcia Daudistel Frances Hatfield (Howard), Michelle Brandhorst (Crews), Michael Hatfield (Mary Kay) and Brian Hatfield. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
