He was predeceased by: his parents, Crestino Garcia and Regina Valdez; his granddaughter Patricia L. Sanchez; and his son-in-law George Calanche. He is survived by: his wife Alma Garcia; his son Mauricio Garcia; his grandchildren, Ralph, Michael, Mario, Alexandria, Alicia, Kevin, Michaela, Jayden and Gabriella; his sister Gloria Duran of Pecos; and also, Lila and Delia Calanche (late George) of El Paso, Texas.. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and two great great-granddaughters.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Rogers Mortuary (600 Raynolds Ave, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
