He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stansbury and Leta Chastain; his wife Donna Stansbury; his daughter Amber Stansbury; and his sister Carol Ann Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Stansbury, Michael Stansbury, Ronald Stansbury, Vanessa Stansbury, Gary Stansbury, Robert Coffman, Darrell Coffman, Elbert Howard, James Howard, Stephanie Sprankle, Jolene Keller, Jeanette Ridenour and Kathleen Mckeehan; his sisters, Marie Hayhurst, Cecelia Duncan, Patricia Moore and Teresa Geyer; and his cousins, Jo Ann Stansbury Smith and Judith Stansbury Klinefelter. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
