He is survived by: his children, Tierra Garrett and Kevin Garrett; his mother Beverly Baca (Dennis Sanchez); his siblings, Warren Brown (Jennie Gates), John (Lynda Brown), Desiree Silva, Teena Reif, Danette Garcia and Justin Silva; his adoptive mother April Gomez; his grandparents, Roselee Baca, Wesley and Betty Brown; his uncles, Terry (Karen Baca), Dennis Baca, Wesley Brown and Walter Brown; his nieces, Ivy Brown and Sapphire Acevedo; his nephew Eric Acevedo; and his cousins, Chris "Porter" (Heather Baca), Jennifer (Tim Johnson), Jonathan Meadows, Garrett Johnson, Brayden Baca, Isabelle Johnson, Kashton Baca, Charlotte Rose Baca, Cheyenne Brown, Dakota Brown and Conagher Brown.

In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund will be set up in his memory through the Raton Elks Lodge.
