She is survived by: her husband Pablo Rael; her children, Paul, Leslie (Michael), Jennifer and Joseph (Jodie); her brother Richard Chavez (Christina); her grandchildren, Marisa, Andrew, Matthew, Esperanza, Noah, Marina, Josiah, Isaiah, Olivia, Catori, Joshua, Kayla and Gabriella; her great grandchildren, Marlee and Rylee; and her grandchildren, Regan Foster-Chavez, Zac Foster, Nick Chavez and Nic Meyer.

The family has asked that any contributions be donations made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, so that a cure may one day be found.
