With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emelda Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Chavez Sr.; her sons, Fred Chavez Jr. and Rudy Chavez; her siblings, Eli Sarracino, Margaret Sarracino, Tillie Sarracino, Loggie Sarracino, Elsie Sarracino and Jennie Sarracino; and her grandson Rosendo.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Esther Tuitoelau-Thomas (Otto), Sarah Martinez, Abram Chavez (Rosario), Nathan Chavez and Tara Luna (Andrew). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
