She was predeceased by: her parents, Federico Ortiz and Evangelina Ortiz; her brothers, Federico Jr. and Frank Ortiz; her son Sammy Ortega; and her grandson Raul Ortega.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Ortega, Steven Ray Ortega, Saul Ortega and Sanya Ortega; and her siblings, Elia O Dozal, Carolina Rios, Fidel Ortiz, Fernando Ortiz and Adolpho Ortiz. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
