He was predeceased by: his wife Rosie; and his sons, Edward Cano Jr. and Richard Cano. He is survived by: his children, Peter Cano (Jolynn), Jeanette Garcia (Oscar), Kenneth Cano (Cindi) and Christine Garcia (Greg); his grandchildren, Gage, Deverae, Erik, Jennifer, Diego, Ciara, Serina, Gregory, Andrew, Jenelle, Laurnn, Alyssa and Kaelynn of Genaro, JR; and his siblings, Tony A. Cano, Gloria Sanchez, Benny Cano and Tony Cano. He is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
