He is survived by: his children, Nicolasa Valverde-Maxey (Ray T. Maxey), Bonnie Pearl Robinson, Anna Marie Chavez and Edward Luis Beverly; his grandchildren, Damon Maxey, Edward Ramirez, Monquie, Franchon and Tommie Robinson; his sister Ruth Randolph (Benjamin Randolph); his nieces, Carol Randolph, Donna Alick-Richardson, Ellen Smith and Trina Green; his nephew Eric (Vanessa Alick); his aunt Florence Embrey (Flossie) of Philadelphia, PA.; his cousin Alfred Jr. of Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Caroline Zhuckhosee (Reggie), Frances Frague and Laura Carroll. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
