He is survived by: his wife Antonia Garcia Benavidez; his children, Carmen Benavidez and Chris Benavidez (Annette); his grandchildren, Santiago, Samantha, Michelle and Anthony; and his brothers, Orlando Benavidez, Ben Benavidez, Orlando Ben Benavidez, Paul Benavidez and Gilbert Gutierrez. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
