It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas A. Powell in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Whitling; and his grandparents, P. Lloyd Powell, Ruth Powell and Maria Griego. He is survived by: his son Garion Powell of Longview, TX.; his parents, Lloyd Powell (Elizabeth Griego-Powell) of Albuquerque, NM and Patty Lindner of Santa Fe, NM; his siblings, Erin Powell of Portland, ME, Bebhinn Nagle (Chris Cox) of Commerce City, CO, Matthew Powell (Wendy Griffin) of Marlborought, MA and Timothy Roose (Audra) of Tulsa, OK.; and his former wife Amy Powell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
