She was predeceased by: her husband Juan R. Garcia Jr.; her son Aaron J. Garcia; her parents, Henry Valencia and Mary Valencia; and her siblings, Ernest Valencia and Gloria Torres.

She is survived by: her sons, John Garcia and James Garcia; and her siblings, Don Valencia (Yvonne), Paul Valencia (Genevieve) and Antoinette Aragon (Paul). She is also survived by several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
