She was predeceased by: her husband David Tapia; her mother Carmen Serna Thomen; and her brother Timothy Thomen. She is survived by: her children, Allen Serna (Shirley), Luis Tapia and Melanie Lujan (Andy); her granddaughter Jacqueline Serna (Stephanie Guerrero); her children, Arlene Serna, Kailey Tapia, Mark Anthony Tapia, Joseph, Jude, Joshua, Johnathan and Esperanza Lujan (Adrian Soza); her great grandchildren, Isabella and Noah Lujan; her grandson Aaron Soza; her siblings, Frank Thomen, Jr., Susie Scrivner (Dave), Raymond Thomen (Charlotte), Rosemary Stewart and Elizabeth Livesay; her sister-in-law Deb Sayers-Thomen; her sister Margaret Herrera; and her friends, Tara Warrior and Pat Cotney. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, godchildren.
