With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delfina Maria Barela Lobato (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Antonito, Colorado, who passed away on August 30, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Barela of Jesus Barela and Sofia Trujillo Barela; her former husband Eulalio B. Lobato; her stepson Steven Lobato; and her siblings, Faustina Martinez (Emilio), Joe Barela (Rufina), Ben Barela (Juanita), Josephine Nygard (Bill), Mary Lobato and Manuelita Quintana (Joe).
She is survived by: her niece Rose J. Martinez (Polito); her nephews, Richard L Barela (Amalia), Ed Lobato (Lark), Rick Lobato and Dan Lobato; her granddaughter Mary Jo Moore; her husband Knight of Columbus Council; and also, Corine Buice, Yolanda Hoyne, Rudy Lobato and David Lobato (Julie). She is also survived by children.
Social distancing practices will be followed and mask wearing will be mandatory.
