He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannie Marez; his parents, Pablo Marez and Mary Marez; and his sister Peggy Silva. He is survived by: his children, Julian Marez (Maria), Angel Marez (Ryan) and Isadora Jaramillo (Chris); his grandchildren, Valarie, Abel Jr. "AJ", Alexandria, Brian and Diego; and his siblings, Greg Marez (Marie), Kathy Evaro, Nancy Kozlowski (Tony) and Paula Sanchez (Johnny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Salazar Mortuary (400 3rd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
