He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Barthel-Fox (Dave) of Milton Freewater, Kevin Barthel (Jan) of Flagstaff, AZ, Heidi Lynch (Steve) of Albuquerque, NM, Kristina Naar (John) of Austin, TX and Michael Barthel (Camille) of Albuquerque, NM; his siblings, Joanne, Jane and Dean; and his sister-in-law Vicky. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
