He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Moya Jr; and his brother Michael Moya. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Gomez-Moya; his daughters, Bernadette Moya (David Chavez) and Andrea Gomez; his grandchildren, Anthony Sanchez, Christopher Castillo, Charles Chavez III, Devin Chavez, Serenity Wilson and Aubree Chavez; and his siblings, Mark Moya and Yolanda Moya.
