He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Mayfield and Charlie Mayfield. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Daniel, Jr. and Marietta Revesz (Paul); his grandchildren, Pete and Irene; and his siblings, Michael Mayfield and Catherine Powers. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
Always civic minded, he donated much of his time to serving on nonprofit and elected boards, including serving two terms as an elected officer for the Public Employees Retirement Association and several terms on the Board of Directors of Rio Grande Credit Union.
