She is survived by: her husband Patrick Carey; her stepdaughters, Katie Carey (Mike Wolk) and Becky Fagan (Matt); her grandchildren, Maya, Josephine, James and Juliette; her siblings, Betsy Ragland, Todd Ragland (Satoko) and Christopher Ragland (Karen); her cousin Holly Nelson; and her brother-in-law Dee Johnson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
