With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clorinda Castillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Castillo; and her daughter Johanna Castillo. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Castillo (Deborah) of Washington and Anna Maria Espalin (Abel); her grandchildren, Stephanie Ortega (Johnny), Abel Espalin Jr., Stacie Espalin, Ryan Vigil, Kara Castillo (Frank Bua), Christopher Castillo (Emily) and Jeremy Casaus; her great grandchildren, Jalen Salas, Emma Ortega, Dylan Vigil, Bodhi Espalin, Nicholas Castillo and Gracie Castillo; and her siblings-in-law, Lenor Sanchez (Elsie Sanchez) and Tony Castillo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (2150 Raymac Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Los Padillas Cemetery (2820 Los Padillas Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121).
