We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2022, at the age of 84, Carol Jayne Petty of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vada Marie Rountree (Atkinson) and John Barton Rountree (Jay). She is survived by: her husband James Floyd Petty; her children, James Petty, Jr. of Albuquerque, Bart Petty of Santa Fe and Kristy Viera; her son-in-law Mike Viera of Larkspur, Colorado.; her sister Diane Norton; her brother-in-law Jim Norton of Redding; her nieces, Jennifer Wiley of Sparta and Lara Dalhaus of Redding; and her great-nephews, Mike Dalhaus, Jed Dalhaus of Redding California, Ryan Wensel and Andrew Wensel of Auckland. She is also survived by her family and her friends.

Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can be made in lieu of flowers.
